The Global Youth Climate Summit 2025 empowers the next generation of climate leaders to tackle the most pressing environmental challenges. Gathering 500 youth from the Global South and beyond, the summit focuses on building knowledge, leadership, and actionable climate solutions. Hosted at the Federal University of Minas Gerais in Brazil, the event will feature expert-led sessions, collaborative workshops, and discussions on protecting biodiversity and ecosystems. Participants will work together to develop strategies that address the urgent threats posed by climate change, from deforestation to species extinction.

Open to young activists, environmental advocates, and future leaders. In-person and virtual participation options available. Ten youth climate champions will receive funding to implement projects in their communities, catalyzing local climate action.
