The World Food Forum (WFF), launched in 2021 and hosted by FAO, is a global, youth-led platform that unites youth action, science and innovation, and investment to drive inclusive and sustainable transformations in agrifood systems for better food futures.
The World Food Forum is more than a multistakeholder conference. It functions as a youth-led movement and innovation network aimed at transforming global agrifood systems. By fostering intergenerational collaboration, it channels the energy and ideas of young leaders, researchers, investors, and policymakers toward sustainable, inclusive, and resilient food futures. Anchored in FAO’s strategic vision and the Four Betters framework, WFF’s activities—ranging from innovation challenges to high‑level dialogues—work in concert to address pressing challenges like hunger, climate change, biodiversity loss, and inequity. The Forum thus serves as a key platform for driving SDG-aligned action and innovation in food systems worldwide.
This year it will be held for an entire week in person at the headquarters in Rome, or you can join online.
