

The Arab Youth Council for Climate Change (AYCCC), an initiative of the Arab Youth Center, is launching its Youth Ambassadors Program across Arab countries. Selected ambassadors will serve as the Council’s extended arm in their respective countries, supporting AYCCC members, representing the Council and the Arab Youth Center at key events, and promoting youth-led climate action.
Mission & Objectives
Youth Engagement in Climate Action: Empower young leaders to actively contribute to climate initiatives in their countries.
Representation & Advocacy: Provide a platform for ambassadors to represent AYCCC and advance climate awareness among youth.
Capacity Building: Offer training, mentorship, and access to tools and resources to enhance the effectiveness of ambassadors.
Key Features
Role & Responsibilities: Support Council members, attend relevant forums, engage in advocacy, and participate in youth panels or circles when requested.
Commitment: 3–5 hours per week, with participation in monthly meetings and events.
Eligibility: Young leaders aged 18–35.

Duration & Engagement
There is no fixed duration for the ambassadorship. In practice, the term may range from a few months to a year, depending on the Council’s activities and opportunities in each country. Ambassadors are expected to remain engaged as long as their support is required, with mutual flexibility.
