

The UNICEF Climate Innovation Challenge 2025 is now accepting applications from emerging markets. Organized in collaboration with the India Health Fund (IHF) and the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), the challenge seeks innovative climate adaptation solutions that can be scaled to maximize impact. The program promotes collaboration between early-stage frontier tech ventures and proven solutions to drive long-term sustainability.
Mission & Objectives
Accelerate Impact for Children: Support solutions addressing climate challenges that improve outcomes for vulnerable children.
Inclusive Innovation: Solutions must work in low-resource environments and reduce inequalities, serving diverse users and communities.
Scalable & Accessible: Innovations should operate in multiple languages, including local and less-used languages, and be open source or willing to be open source.
Eligibility & Requirements
Registered as a private, for-profit company in a UNICEF program country
Working prototype or minimum viable product with promising results
Potential to positively impact vulnerable children
Ability to generate publicly measurable, real-time data
