This recently published policy brief by ESCWA, highlights that an estimated 69,000 people in Lebanon live with severe disabilities, while around 488,000 have mild disabilities.

The brief examines the lived realities of persons with disabilities in Lebanon, highlighting structural barriers in labor force participation, persistent employment gaps between persons with severe disabilities and those without disabilities, as well as challenges related to job search and entrepreneurship.
