California, United States (Enmaeya News) — Apple Inc. is weeks away from its annual product launch, signaling a major shift in iPhone design after years of modest updates. While previous models focused on better chips, cameras, and software, Apple plans three straight years of significant changes starting this September.

The first major change is the iPhone Air, a thinner, lighter model replacing the iPhone 16 Plus. It will have a single rear camera, weaker battery, no physical SIM slot, and Apple’s first in-house modem. The Pro models—iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max—will feature minor design updates, a revamped camera system, and a new orange color option.

In 2026, Apple plans its first foldable iPhone, code-named V68. The device will have four cameras, use Touch ID instead of Face ID, and drop the SIM slot. Apple is testing black and white colors and a new in-cell touchscreen to reduce the crease on the foldable display. By 2027, the iPhone 20 will introduce a full curved-glass design, paired with a new Liquid Glass-based interface.

Other products will see incremental upgrades this fall, including Apple Watch, Vision Pro headsets, iPad Pros with M5 chips, AirPods Pro with heart-rate monitoring, and HomePods. Apple is also developing a HomePod with a screen, smart glasses, a foldable iPad, Mac convertibles, and a home security system.

Apple is also expanding its services business. Apple TV+ prices have risen from $9.99 to $12.99, and AppleCare One now protects three devices for $20 per month. Next year, the company plans a paid Apple Health+ service offering AI-based nutrition planning and medical guidance.

Artificial intelligence is another focus. Apple is exploring partnerships to improve Siri, including using AI models from Google, Anthropic, and OpenAI. Currently, Apple integrates Anthropic’s Claude internally, and discussions with Google could bring its Gemini AI to Apple’s private cloud. These efforts may reshape Siri’s performance and its search functions.

Despite regulatory pressures on the App Store and search deals, the iPhone remains at the heart of Apple’s strategy, with 2025 setting the stage for major innovations in the coming years.
