Beirut, Lebanon (Enmaeya News) — The inaugural founding conference of the Asian-African Parliamentary Council is set to open Monday under the patronage of Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri. The event will begin at 10:30 a.m. and continue through Tuesday in the main hall of the Parliament at Nejmeh Square.
The conference will be chaired by Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, first deputy speaker of the Iraqi Parliament and president of the founding council of the Asian-African Parliamentary Council.
The gathering will bring together presidents of parliaments from Arab, Asian, and African countries, along with delegations and representatives from regional and international organizations.
