Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Enmaeya News) — ACWA Power, Badeel and SAPCO announced plans to invest about $8.3 billion in renewable energy projects across Saudi Arabia, aiming to develop 15,000 megawatts of capacity. The announcement was made in the presence of His Royal Highness the Minister of Energy.

The initiative seeks to accelerate the kingdom’s transition to clean energy, reduce carbon emissions and strengthen energy security. The projects will include solar and wind power plants in strategic regions, supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 sustainability goals.

Officials said the collaboration will create thousands of jobs, encourage innovation in the energy sector and strengthen partnerships between local and international stakeholders.

The projects are expected to bring significant economic and environmental benefits, positioning Saudi Arabia as a regional leader in renewable energy.
