Beirut, Lebanon (Enmaeya News) — Environment Minister Tamara El Zein advanced key projects Saturday, meeting with French Development Agency and World Bank officials to support municipal climate initiatives and rehabilitate Lebanon’s waste facilities.

She discussed establishing environmental clinics in municipalities, a project designed to equip local authorities with tools to tackle climate challenges and rehabilitate lands damaged by Israeli aggression, guided by an upcoming Ministry of Environment report.

El Zein also reviewed ongoing projects with the World Bank, including the Karantina waste treatment facility, focusing on future support as Beirut Municipality prepares to take over management.
