LEBANON (Enmaeya News) - October 21, 2025
The Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Waleed Bukhari, formally invited Lebanon to take part in the upcoming Riyadh Expo 2030, according to LBCI.
The Riyadh Expo 2030 is set to run from October 1, 2030, through March 31, 2031, under the theme “Foresight for Tomorrow.”
Ambassador Bukhari described the exhibition as a “unique and unprecedented edition” of the global event, aiming to bring together innovators and global talent to tackle future challenges through advanced technology and international collaboration.
He noted that the Expo will center on three major themes: innovative technologies, sustainable solutions, and the growth of thriving communities.
The invitation underscores Saudi Arabia’s push, via its Vision 2030 agenda, to assert itself as a regional hub for modernization and global engagement.
For Lebanon, participation could signal stronger ties with Saudi Arabia and a greater role in large-scale international events, though tangible commitments from Beirut are not yet public.
As preparations for Riyadh Expo 2030 gather pace, Lebanon’s response and the extent of its involvement will be watched closely by regional observers.
