The Faculty of Media – First Branch hosted a workshop organized by the Ministry of Administrative Development for Lebanese University students, titled "Integrating Behavioral Sciences in Updating the National Anti-Corruption Strategy".
The workshop discussed how behavioral sciences can be applied to develop public policies and promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability within public institutions. It also emphasized the importance of implementing practical interventions to reduce corruption and strengthen trust between citizens and the state.
Students from various faculties attended the workshop, which was led by Dr. Diana Dakhelallah in collaboration with the Anti-Corruption Unit of the Ministry of State for Administrative Development. The sessions included interactive simulations and educational games, allowing students to explore administrative behavior concepts, understand mechanisms for promoting integrity and transparency, and present proposals reflecting their vision of the youth’s role in institutional reform.
The workshop is part of a series of consultative meetings organized by the ministry as part of updating the National Anti-Corruption Strategy (2020–2025), highlighting the importance of involving the national university and students in shaping public policies and building more transparent and citizen-responsive institutions.
