This event comes shortly after a separate 5.2‑magnitude tremor on November 12.
LEBANON (Enmaeya News) - November 17, 2025
A mild earthquake of magnitude 2.8 struck Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley on Sunday, according to the Bhannes National Center for Geophysical Research (NCGR).
The tremor was recorded at around 17:03 local time, and its epicenter was located near Zahle, in the Bekaa region. Several residents reported feeling the shaking.
Authorities say the quake was relatively minor and caused no reported damage or injuries.
This event comes shortly after a separate 5.2‑magnitude tremor on November 12, which originated off the coast of Cyprus and was felt in parts of Lebanon.
