BEIRUT (Enmaeya News) - November 18, 2025
The Beirut One investment conference kicked off today in Beirut under the patronage of President Joseph Aoun, with participation from the Ministry of Economy and Trade and the Economic, Social, and Environmental Council.
The two-day event, held at the Beirut Seaside Arena on November 18-19, aims to reopen Lebanon’s doors to capital investment from private Lebanese investors, the diaspora, and international partners.
Economy Minister Amer Bisat said the conference serves as a launching point for a capital investment program. The government plans to present indicative projects across key sectors, including energy, ports, industry, and transport, to encourage international participation.
According to the National News Agency, President Aoun told officials attending the conference that the event represents “an opportunity to reaffirm Lebanon’s economic role as it begins to recover after years of crises.”
Organizers hope the conference will reposition Lebanon from a crisis-hit nation to a platform for serious growth and investment, focusing on economic reforms and enhancing the productive capacity of the private sector and Lebanese communities abroad.
The conference is also seen as a diplomatic and economic reset, aiming to rebuild investor confidence and create a roadmap for sustainable development amid ongoing economic challenges.
