BEIRUT (Enmaeya News) - December 5, 2025

After a two-year pause, the Beirut & Beyond International Music Festival (BBIMF) is making its comeback. The 2025 edition of BBIMF will take place from December 4 to 6 at Metro Al Madina in Beirut.

This year’s program features 34 artists and 12 musical groups hailing from across the region and beyond,  including Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia, Egypt, Chile, and Iran, alongside a professional track gathering 21 production-industry experts.

On December 6, the festival shifts to the Beirut Art Center, where Mottamar: The Congress of Electronic and Innovative Arabic Music will present a special showcase, followed by a panel discussion on sustaining artistic practice and securing long-term funding.

The program wraps up on December 7 with a joint event by Beirut & Beyond and Rumman, the Tripoli-based independent music festival, held at Stereo Kawalis in Tripoli.

The festival promises a rich mixture of musical languages and fresh talent, much of which draws on political themes, rooted in memory, rights, and collective experience.

In addition to live performances, the festival will host an expanded professional program with panels, workshops, and “meet-the-artist” sessions designed to equip regional musicians with tools to grow and sustain their careers.

BBIMF’s return signals not just a revival of Beirut’s cultural life but also a reaffirmation of art’s power to reflect social realities, preserve cultural memory, and offer hope for collective resilience.
