On the sidelines of the Doha Forum, Lebanon’s Prime Minister Nawaf Salam held a meeting with Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist Bill Gates, according to the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA).

During the meeting, PM Salam formally extended an invitation for Gates to visit Lebanon.

NNA reported that the discussion focused on areas of mutual interest and potential cooperation, though no specific projects or commitments were announced.

Gates expressed openness to continuing the conversation, and both sides agreed to resume talks in January to explore the possibility of a future visit to Beirut.

While Lebanese media outlets have highlighted the significance of the meeting, officials emphasized that any visit remains under consideration and dependent on further discussions.
