Lebanese cuisine has secured its position as the leading culinary tradition in the Arab world, according to TasteAtlas’ 2025-2026 ranking of the world’s top 100 cuisines.

Globally, Lebanon claimed the 20th spot, ahead of other prominent Arab nations including Palestine, Egypt, Tunisia, and Syria.

The ranking, compiled from hundreds of thousands of reviews and ratings, reflects the growing international recognition of Lebanese food for its rich flavors, fresh ingredients, and diverse dishes. TasteAtlas, a popular global food guide, highlighted Lebanese staples such as mezze, tabbouleh, kibbeh, and manakish as key contributors to its strong global appeal.

Other Arab cuisines also performed well, with Palestine, Egypt, Tunisia, and Syria following Lebanon in the regional standings.
