BEIRUT (Enmaeya News) – December 9, 2025

The Lebanese Ministry of State for Technology and Artificial Intelligence has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Oracle, launching a large-scale national training program to build digital and artificial intelligence skills among Lebanese citizens.

According to the National News Agency (NNA), the agreement aims to train 50,000 Lebanese in key digital fields, including cloud computing, programming, and artificial intelligence, through specialized programs delivered in partnership with higher education institutions in Lebanon.

The program abides by international training standards, with Oracle providing technical expertise and educational content.

The program will also be implemented in collaboration with leading Lebanese universities, like the Lebanese University, the American University of Beirut (AUB), Lebanese American University (LAU), and Saint Joseph University (USJ), in addition to partners from the private sector.

The initiative aligns with government efforts to modernize skills, reduce the digital gap, and empower Lebanese youth with globally competitive competencies, particularly in emerging technologies that are increasingly in demand worldwide.

Further details regarding the rollout timeline, enrollment mechanisms, and participating institutions are expected to be announced at a later stage by the ministry, in coordination with Oracle.
