Rafic Hariri International Airport is gearing up to welcome expatriates and tourists. Starting in December, Christmas and New Year decorations adorn the airport, from arrival and departure halls to lounges such as the Cedar Lounge.

Colorful displays bid farewell to departing travelers with images and impressions reflecting a country that consistently celebrates its occasions in style. Meanwhile, returning expatriates and guests are greeted by festive lights as they reunite with their families for the holiday season.

According to the National News Agency, in November, 223,066 passengers arrived through the airport. The first week of December has already seen a noticeable increase, with daily arrivals ranging between 8,000 and 10,000 passengers.

Director General of Civil Aviation, Engineer Amin Jaber, noted, “The number of arrivals to Lebanon is expected to rise further by mid-December, reaching approximately 18,000 passengers daily, based on airline requests to increase flights to the country.”
