The Lebanese Diaspora Energy (LDE) Association is set to launch a special edition of the Lebanese Diaspora Energy Conference on December 29 and 30 in Beirut, aiming to strengthen ties between Lebanese expatriates and their home country and channel diaspora expertise into tangible support for Lebanon.

The conference seeks to open new avenues for cooperation, promote knowledge exchange, and enhance partnerships between Lebanese communities abroad and residents at home, with a focus on contributing to Lebanon’s economic, social, and cultural recovery.

Held under the slogan “No matter how far apart we are, Lebanon brings us together,” the event underscores a unifying national message that Lebanese identity transcends geographical distance and differences, forming a lasting bond among Lebanese worldwide.

The conference will bring together prominent Lebanese figures from the diaspora, representing diverse professional backgrounds and areas of expertise, alongside political, intellectual, economic, and media stakeholders.

Discussions will focus on practical ways to support Lebanon and strengthen its role at both the regional and international levels.

The conference will officially open on Sunday, December 29, at 10:00 a.m. on Independence Street in Achrafieh. The two-day program includes a series of specialized panel discussions addressing economic and social issues, Lebanese identity, the role and responsibilities of the diaspora, and cultural and social themes reflecting the richness of the Lebanese experience at home and abroad.
