LEBANON - The Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Ministry of State for Technology and Artificial Intelligence signed an agreement to improve digital services in schools and education.

The agreement was signed by Minister Dr. Rima Karamy for Education and Dr. Kamal Shahadeh for Technology and AI at the Digital Beirut City hub. Advisors and experts from both ministries attended the signing.

The deal sets up a framework for both ministries to work together on technology projects. It aims to upgrade the Education Ministry’s digital systems, online platforms, and services, including certification and credential verification.

The agreement also covers data protection, disaster recovery, and operational continuity. A joint team of ministry staff and experts will manage the work.
