LEBANON - Lebanon’s Ministry of Economy and Trade has launched advanced e-services to simplify procedures and reduce costs.

In a statement, Minister of Economy and Trade, Amr Al-Bassat, said a wide range of services are now fully available online.

These include consumer complaints, professional services related to fuel stations and tanker operations, requests for reanalysis of goods, customs data transactions, as well as services linked to commercial institutions, publishing houses, and exhibitions.

The minister urged citizens and stakeholders to submit requests exclusively through the ministry’s digital platforms: the Consumer Protection Portal and the Ministry of Economy and Trade mobile app.

The minister also announced that intellectual property services will be fully digitized during the first quarter of 2026. Starting 1 February 2026, all applications for these services must be submitted electronically.

The minister emphasized the ministry’s commitment to updating its services and improving the citizen experience, encouraging residents to use the smart app for filing complaints.

He also urged professionals and business owners to take advantage of the available e-services, noting that more than 20 services are now fully digital, including those from the Consumer Protection Directorate.

This marks a significant step towards modernizing government services in Lebanon, making them more efficient, transparent, and accessible to citizens and businesses alike.
