LEBANON - The Ministry of State for Technology and Artificial Intelligence, represented by Minister Kamal Shehadeh and his team, signed a cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, represented by Minister Youssef Raggi and his team.

This agreement aims to strengthen cooperation and develop digital services provided to Lebanese citizens, particularly expatriates.

Minister Shehadeh emphasized that "the meeting with Minister Raggi is a source of pride," noting that it "raises Lebanon’s name abroad, restores the country’s rights in various matters, and defines how other nations interact with Lebanon on a basis of equality, in a manner befitting the Lebanese people”.

He added that "Lebanon has significant size and influence, despite the decline it experienced in the past”.

Shehadeh also congratulated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs team, stating that they "represent Lebanon in the best possible way," and wished them "continued success and steadfastness in their positions”.

He explained that "the signing of this cooperation protocol continues a previous path, stemming from the ministries’ responsibility to improve services offered to citizens, particularly expatriates”.

He revealed that work is underway to "develop a number of digital services that will be made available to expatriates in an easy, secure, and protected manner, reducing both effort and cost for them”.
