LEBANON – Indonesian Ambassador Dicky Komar visited the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture at the Lebanese University, accompanied by a delegation from the embassy, where he discussed with the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Hisham Zeineddine, ways to strengthen cultural and artistic relations between Lebanon and Indonesia.

According to a statement, the meeting—attended by former Dean Dr. Mohammad Al-Hajj—reviewed previous activities organized by the Indonesian Embassy at the Faculty in cooperation with the Indonesian contingent serving within UNIFIL and discussed enhancing cooperation in light of the Embassy’s desire to expand it in the coming phase.

In this context, Dr. Zeineddine affirmed the faculty’s willingness to open up to artistic experiences from Asian societies and to promote their artistic culture, in a way that enriches educational curricula and strengthens the global dimension of the academic experience at the Faculty.

During the meeting, agreement was reached on practical steps aimed at developing future partnerships that serve cultural and artistic exchange and enhance academic communication between the two sides.

At the conclusion of the visit, the embassy delegation toured the campus of the first branch of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture at Rafik Hariri University City in Hadath, inspecting the Indonesian cultural corner at the headquarters of the Association of Arab Faculties of Fine Arts.
