LEBANON – The Minister of Social Affairs, Hanin El Sayed, stated that "all state institutions are on full alert", noting that the number of displaced people registered in shelter centers has reached 58,064.

Speaking from the Disaster Management Room at the Grand Serail, she said, "We are working to meet needs across all regions of Lebanon".

She also urged the remaining displaced individuals to move to areas such as Mount Lebanon, the North, and Akkar.

She added, "All state institutions are fully mobilized. The challenge is significant, but we are working according to a clear plan to ensure a fast and organized response. We ask citizens to follow information only from official sources".
