LEBANON – The media office of Minister of Telecommunications Charles Hajj issued a statement confirming that the minister is closely monitoring ongoing field developments, particularly the movement of displaced people in a number of areas.
The statement noted that Hajj is maintaining continuous contact with officials within the ministry as well as with the two mobile network operators and Ogero to assess the status of the network, repair technical faults, and increase capacity in areas experiencing higher population density.
It also indicated that a series of measures required by the current difficult circumstances will be announced soon, with the aim of maintaining the continuity of telecommunications services and ensuring network stability.
