LEBANON – As part of its response plan implemented in cooperation with the Lebanese Army, the Ministry of Agriculture has begun relocating beehives from high-risk areas to safer locations. This measure aims to protect bee populations, safeguard honey production, and ensure the continuity of agricultural activity.

The operation is set to begin tomorrow from Zahrani, under the supervision of the Lebanese Army, at 2:00 PM, and will include beehives from Zrarieh and Babliyeh.

The Ministry affirmed that “this initiative aims to protect agricultural resources and support farmers’ resilience in facing current challenges, reflecting coordination and cooperation between the civilian and military sectors to ensure the sustainability of agricultural production.”
