LEBANON – Amid the escalating crisis in Lebanon and the increasing internal displacement, the Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development, in partnership with the British Council, has directed the activities of the "Youth Connect" program towards emergency support for displaced families in Sidon.

The youth launched three community initiatives in coordination with the Sidon Municipality and the Disaster Risk Management (DRM) unit.

These initiatives included distributing breakfast meals to around 700 displaced people in collaboration with the Lebanese Scouts Association and organizing recreational activities and psychological support for approximately 200 children in partnership with Lebanon Future Scouts.

They also conducted psychological support sessions and interactive activities for about 60 women and 110 children in collaboration with the "Be Vigilant for Social Development" association. These efforts provided a safe and supportive space for the displaced families during the ongoing crisis.
