LEBANON – The UK Minister for the Middle East visited Lebanon on 16 April, where he announced new funding worth £20.5 million to support the British government’s humanitarian response to the ongoing crisis in the country.
According to the announcement, this additional funding will bring the United Kingdom’s total contribution to £30 million since March, as part of efforts to support relief operations targeting displaced families and those affected by conflicts, including communities in remote areas.
The funding aims to strengthen emergency response efforts and meet the essential needs of the most affected populations amid the worsening humanitarian situation.
