LEBANON — The Lebanese Ministry of Industry said it has launched an electronic survey to assess damage sustained by industrial facilities following ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanon.
In an official statement, the ministry said the initiative is part of its mandate to support and protect the industrial sector during the current crisis.
It added that the survey, now available on the ministry’s official website and social media platforms, is intended for industrialists whose facilities have been affected.
The questionnaire collects data on the extent of damage as well as estimated costs for repair and reconstruction. The information gathered will help establish a comprehensive database of losses in the industrial sector.
According to the ministry, the collected data will serve as a foundation for coordinated action with relevant local and international stakeholders. The goal, it said, is to work toward “fair, equitable and just solutions” for affected industrial establishments.
The ministry stressed that documenting damages is a necessary step toward shaping recovery plans and mobilizing support for rebuilding efforts.
