Disaster Risk Report: Rising Death Toll and Displacement Across Lebanon
More than 2,500 killed and 7,800 injured, alongside 116,000 displaced persons across 621 shelters, amid the ongoing escalation of hostilities in Lebanon.

LEBANON – Based on the daily situation report issued by Lebanon’s Disaster Risk Management Unit on 28 April 2026, the following outlines the latest field and humanitarian conditions:
Human losses (cumulative figures as of last night):
• Fatalities: The total number of people killed has reached 2,521.
• Injuries: The number of injured has risen to 7,804.
Displacement and shelters:
• Displaced persons in shelters: 116,154 displaced individuals are currently registered in collective shelters.
• Displaced families: An estimated 30,526 families are hosted in these shelters.
• Shelters: A total of 621 shelters have been opened to accommodate displaced persons.
Hostilities:
• The report recorded 9,991 hostile incidents to date.
