Public Sector-Academia Matchmaking Portal
LEBANON - The Office of the Minister of State for Administrative Reform (OMSAR) has launched the Public Sector-Academia Matchmaking Portal, a digital platform designed to connect Lebanese universities, faculty members, students, and recent graduates with ministries and public institutions seeking academic expertise and young talent.
The platform enables government entities to post institutional needs, research projects, internships, and collaboration opportunities, while allowing faculty members, students, and graduates to create profiles and apply their expertise to public sector challenges.
According to OMSAR, the initiative is intended to create a structured channel between academia and the public sector by matching university expertise with the operational and policy needs of government institutions.
he office said the portal will facilitate knowledge exchange, applied research, and skills matching, enabling ministries and public agencies to access specialized expertise while providing students and graduates with practical opportunities to contribute to public service.
The launch comes as Lebanon continues efforts to modernize public administration and rebuild institutional capacity through digital transformation initiatives under OMSAR's broader reform agenda.
The portal is accessible online and is open to government entities, universities, faculty members, students, and fresh graduates across Lebanon.
