BEIRUT — Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), through its Primary Health Care Department, is set to launch the upgraded PHENICS Digital Primary Healthcare Platforms on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at the Gefinor Rotana Hotel in Beirut.
Held under the patronage of Minister of Public Health Dr. Rakan Nasseraldine, the event is being organized in collaboration with UNICEF, Première Urgence Internationale (PUI), and the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), as part of efforts to modernize primary healthcare services and advance digital transformation in Lebanon’s health sector.
The launch will introduce two main digital applications aimed at facilitating access to healthcare services and improving their management. The PHENICS Provider Application is designed for healthcare professionals to manage care delivery and clinical documentation, while the Sohatna Caregiver Application aims to empower patients and caregivers with direct access to digital health services and health tracking.
The event will bring together representatives from the Ministry of Public Health, healthcare institutions, international donor agencies, and development partners supporting Lebanon’s healthcare infrastructure.
The launch of the upgraded platforms comes as part of efforts to expand the use of digital solutions in primary healthcare, facilitate the management of health services and data, and improve the efficiency and accessibility of healthcare delivery in Lebanon.
