The Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development and Lebanon’s Ministry of State for Technology and Artificial Intelligence signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening artificial intelligence awareness and developing digital skills across Lebanon.
The agreement, signed by Mrs. Bahia Hariri and Dr. Kamal Shehadeh, marks a step toward promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation while bridging the gap between education and labor market needs.
As part of the partnership, the initiative "Saida, an AI-Aware City" was launched as a pilot model to bring emerging technologies closer to local communities and empower young people with future-ready skills. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to responsible and inclusive use of artificial intelligence in support of sustainable development and Lebanon’s digital future.
