The Global Digital Compact represents an extensive framework for the international management of digital technologies and artificial intelligence. Two decades following the World Summit on the Information Society, it provides a strategic plan for worldwide digital collaboration aimed at leveraging the vast benefits of digital technology and bridging digital gaps. On September 22, 2024, global leaders gathered in New York at the Summit of the Future, where they agreed on a Pact for the Future that encompasses the Global Digital Compact.
