Each year, countries come together to assess progress and set new targets for limiting global warming, enhancing resilience, and securing financial flows in line with climate objectives. The Paris Agreement’s inclusive approach requires all nations to submit their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), advancing a collaborative global effort. COP also plays a crucial role in engaging youth and bridging the gap between governments and non-state actors through initiatives like the Climate Champions and the Presidency Youth Climate Champion (PYCC).
