The Second Africa Climate Summit (ACS2) will be held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 8 to 10 September 2025, under the auspices of the African Union (AU) and the Government of Ethiopia (GoE). Pre-summit events and dialogues will take place from 5 to 7 September 2025, providing youth, communities, and marginalized voices the opportunity to shape the agenda and priorities of the Summit. ACS2 serves as a platform for policymakers, practitioners, businesses, and civil society to advance Africa’s climate agenda and sustainable development priorities, positioning the continent as a hub of African-led climate solutions ahead of COP30.
