LEBANON - The United Nations, through its partners and agencies, is working to support children in Lebanon whose education has been disrupted by displacement and ongoing conflict.

In one of the videos published by the United Nations, a child in Lebanon said, “I prefer being at school… I miss my classroom,” highlighting the impact of displacement and ongoing conflict on children’s education.

In coordination with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and in line with its emergency response plan, efforts are ongoing to ensure that every child continues learning despite current challenges.

These initiatives provide a mix of online, offline, and phone-based educational support.

The program is implemented by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in partnership with Transition and Resilience Education Fund (TREF) donors and UNICEF.
