BEIRUT - The 27th edition of Project Lebanon, the international trade exhibition for construction, infrastructure, interior design and energy, opened on September 29 at Seaside Arena on Beirut’s waterfront, bringing together more than 200 exhibitors from Lebanon and several international markets.
The exhibition is held under the patronage of Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, with Industry Minister Joe Issa El Khoury attending the opening alongside ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions, including those of Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, France, Indonesia, Egypt and Austria. Economic sector leaders, business representatives, exhibitors and members of the media also attended.
The exhibition, organized by International Fairs and Promotions (IFP), runs from September 29 to October 2, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Industry Minister Highlights Reconstruction
Speaking at the opening, Minister El Khoury described the exhibition as particularly relevant at a time when reconstruction is a national priority.
“Project Lebanon comes at a pivotal stage, because reconstruction is currently a national priority,” he said. “The gathering of more than 200 exhibitors is a message that Lebanon is ready for investment, and that the world is ready to be a partner in reconstruction.”
He also commended IFP for its efforts and continued involvement in Lebanon’s reconstruction process.
The exhibition features products and solutions across the construction sector, including construction materials and equipment, infrastructure solutions, renewable energy, engineering technologies and related services.
The participation of international companies is intended to provide visitors with access to international expertise and new technologies, while creating opportunities for Lebanese, regional and international companies to establish business partnerships.
Focus on Business Opportunities and International Participation
Project Lebanon 2026 also places emphasis on business-to-business networking and commercial opportunities. International buyers are attending the exhibition, including business delegations from Syria, giving exhibitors opportunities to connect with potential buyers and decision-makers seeking suppliers, products and partnerships.
Through Match Gate, the exhibition’s B2B meeting program, registered participants can identify relevant business contacts and schedule bilateral meetings in advance, with the aim of turning meetings at the exhibition into potential commercial opportunities.
Alongside Project Lebanon, Interiors Lebanon is being held with a focus on interior design, furnishings and related solutions. The exhibition is designed to serve professionals involved across different stages of projects, from construction through to final fit-out.
Four-day Conference Addresses Reconstruction
Project Lebanon 2026 also includes a four-day conference program bringing together public- and private-sector representatives, architects, engineers, academics and sector specialists.
Sessions address issues including post-war reconstruction, urban planning, digital infrastructure and 5G technology, renewable energy, building safety, sustainable construction, interior architecture, artificial intelligence and the preservation of Lebanon’s architectural heritage.
The conference provides a platform for discussions on technical priorities, sector developments and approaches to reconstruction and future development in Lebanon.
Project Lebanon 2026 will continue through October 2, providing a platform for companies and professionals to explore partnerships, technologies and business opportunities linked to construction and reconstruction.
The exhibition’s program also aims to facilitate exchanges between local and international stakeholders on infrastructure, energy, design and sustainable development in Lebanon.
